- Firstly, I'm gonna wish everyone a happy new year for tonight!
- It's been a while since I updated at Britrock, but I have done so today :) Firstly, my wantlist is up to date. Very important, that!!
- In Depth Reviews for The Presidential Dilemma, The Stingers Hit Town, Broadway Magic, Renaissance Woman and The Princess And The Singer are now up on the server. I have been bowled over by the number of people who have got in touch with me through mailing lists, boards or private email to say that they love these reviews...which is why I've dragged my brain up to do some more. I haven't had much time with my DVDs over the last few months, but I will try and get a few more done in the near future. It's about time I sat down with my notepad and got back to updating Britrock, anyhow!!
- Appearances have been updated for the character appearance section. Thanks to the people who've helped me update and correct this...I appreciate it.
- For the time being, Hoofprints' Jem will remain CLOSED. I have sorted out the stuff I have remaining to me into lots which will go up on EBAY during the next few weeks. These lots will include parts to vhtf fashions like Broadway Magic, Gotta Be Fast, Love's Not Easy, Set Your Sails...and a Mexican doll dressed, too. I want these things to find nice new homes rather than sit gathering dust in my room while I don't have time to really update my website and deal properly with all the orders. It came to a head for me when a couple of deals fell through after I'd devoted a lot to time to answering enquiries and other stuff at a difficult and busy time of year for me at work. I realise that - for the time being - I need a break. This is not to say HPJ will never come back. It might well be running again by the summer, or it might not. I just need a time out ;) Oh, and some storage space!! My sincere thanks to everyone who has bought from me and to all the wonderful people I've been fortunate to deal with!!
- Jewel's World has been far more regularly updated than Britrock. Check the subsite for more details of the latest fanfiction updates there :) Yes, I am still working on End of the Line part 2. It has five chapters now, instead of three, which is progress. I will try and get it finished soon! I am also working on the Misfit Chronicles. Pizzazz's chronicle is coming along quite far, but needs to be seriously proofed before it reaches the net...
- THE JEM ENCYCLOPAEDIA has been
added to the site - when you load Jem In The Uk now you will get the Encyclopaedia.
This contains all the stuff from Jem In The Uk plus a far far more detailed
and exact section on the Mexican dolls. It is under construction in many
areas but I wanted to get it up because of the current Mexican craze!!

- Updated my wantlist to remove Ashley's shoes (yay!) Mexican Kimber's keyboard (double yay), Broadway Magic (super-yay!) and the gloves to She Makes An Impression (yippee!) Yep, been a busy week in Jem trade!
- Updated the photoshoot somewhat to add Broadway Magic and some other flippy pieces :)
- Jewel's World has also had an update which you can check via the
link frame to the left :)

- The Hall of Shame has a new section - "Trouble In The Studio", featuring some interesting (and entirely official, may I add) renditions of some of the series' well known songs! Check it out!
- Added an In Depth Review for The Music Awards (Parts 1 and 2) :)
- Made some slight adjustments to the lyrics section to include the alternate lyric for I Am A Giant, among other things.
- Added some data to the In Depth Review of Island of Deception,
simply because I forgot to mention it before..
- Am currently working on a renovation for Jem In The Uk - I don't know how long it will take me, but if any of the links mess up or pages are funny colours for a bit (I hope they aren't, but if they are bear with me) you know why!
- I have recently had a couple of questions asking if I make custom
fashions for sale. At present the answer is "no", because I haven't the
time or patience to take orders, nor the skill to do the complicated fashions
justice. Some of the ones I made for my own dolls took long and painstaking
work to complete, since I cannot use a sewing machine, so reproducing them
is not an easy option. I continue to practice, however. Who knows? :) I
have also had questions asking when End Of The Line II will be up. Er. Fraid
it's stalled again (hides). But I'm working on it!
- Finally, I am thrilled to note that Britrock is now averaging 20 visits a day. That's phenomenal for a website that started in such humble origins - particularly considering my site is devoted to the Misfits and not the usually more popular Holograms - and I am totally totally taken aback by the number of folk who visit here :D Thank you for believing my site is worth your time :D I hope it continues to live up to expectations! If there is anything you would desperately like to see on this site, please, LET ME KNOW!!

- Added a song soundbyte section to the lyric part of the website. Yes, multimedia once again!!
- Added a Character Appearances section to the Episode Guide.
- Updated my wantlist to remove We Can Change It's bodysuit *yay!*
- And finally, added a new picture to Synergy's character biography,
just for fun :)

- Jem In The UK has had an update with hybrid Pizzazz and her dress being added. These items have also been taken from my wantlist, as has Broadway Magic's skirt!
- I found the missing photostories! Jetta Plays Clarinet and Aja and Stormer's Adventure are now a part of the Hall Of Shame!!
- Some minor updates to Jewel's World - check out the subsite to see what's new!
- All updates to this site prior to January 2004 are now lodged in archive files since the loading time of this page was getting silly. If for any reason you need to access them - check the bottom of the page! But links within these old archived updates might no longer be current!!
- Eight more Hologram songs have now had the lyrics added
to the site! So there are now only twelve left to go (lyrics are there
for all other songs, it's just the hologram section that is incomplete.
Song lyrics are now uploaded up to and including "You Already Know".

- In Depth guides have been added for more episodes including "Talent Search", "Adventure In China", "Glitter and Gold", "Out of the Past", "Hot Time In Hawaii" and "The Bands Break Up" over the course of the last week!!

- The series guide has undergone some renovation! No, I still haven't captured those two episodes, (sheepish grin) but the navigation is now a lot clearer and I have begun a brand new section - the series in depth! I get so many people emailing me asking me about things I've picked up on in character biographies or fanfiction - lots of people saying "I didn't even think about that until you wrote it", and a few people asking me my take on episodes. So alongside the summary guides I've decided to do a detailed breakdown of the episodes. I don't know yet whether I will do this for ALL the episodes since it is a lot of work and I have a zillion other things to do (not to mention my pony site whose update is already past due!) But I have at least begun, and it hopefully will prove interesting reading. My disclaimer here is that these are only my opinions and not official in any respect.
- I have begun work (at last!) on End Of The Line: Part Two. The reason for the delay? Writing Holograms is a lot harder for me than writing Misfits, and writing Jewel comes easiest of the lot, since they are essentially my own characters. I am not quite sure how Hologram fans will react to this story - but we shall see :) Work also continues on the Misfit Chronicles. The basic parts to Jetta's are already written, they just require editing and slotting together more fluidly. Quite half of the first part of Pizzazz's is also written and three chapters of Clash's and a story plan are also in existance. I know I work in a funny order but bear with me, okay?
- Jem in the UK has had a small update - I have added a couple of new Mexican pictures courtesy of Amy.
- And finally, I have edited my wantlist to remove Broadway Magic's jacket and LNE's tights and BaNee's shoes! Yay! The Shana in Love's Not Easy picture has also been updated on the Photoshoot.

- Changed the pictures on the Britrock link frames. Come on, own up - who noticed! LOL :)
- Added a whole new page to the Hall of Shame outtakes section and also added back the old photostories that I did ages ago - this is also a part of the Hall of Shame now :) I am still looking for the files on my PC for Aja and Stormer's adventure, Pizzazz and Aja's holiday and Jetta plays Clarinet. I will find them though - eventually!!
- Four more episodes screen captured! They are Riot's Hope, Change of Heart, Straight From The Heart and That Ol' Houdini Magic. Just two left to go now! :D
- Removed Mexican Roxy's shoes from my wantlist. Yay for me! Am pondering the idea of selling some of my MOC fashions since they're gathering dust, taking up space and I like my loose fashions on display anyway. Pondering...pondering.
- Also considering what kind of things to add to Britrock. I've had this layout and this content for some time and while things like Jewel's World and Jem In The UK are staples of the site, I'm considering what people might like to see as part of Britrock. Do you have any ideas? If anyone has anything they think Britrock *should* have and currently does not, let me know!
- And good news for all HPJ regulars - my Jemshop should
return sometime around June (camera permitting!)

- Two more episodes screen captured! They are (predictably), Middle of Nowhere and Trick or Techrat. The six remaining episodes to be captured are Alone Again, Riot's Hope, Change of Heart, A Father Should Be, That Ol' Houdini Magic and Straight From The Heart. I will get to them, bit by bit, but sitting in front of my pc watching Stinger episodes is never my favourite pastime!

- Yep, I've made some updates at last to Britrock's site! I have more to do on the character cast section of the series guide, and I admit it, there are still eight or so episodes awaiting capturing. They're stinger episodes mostly - forgive me ;) I promise that I will get to them, I just have to be feeling brave ;) But, for the time being, I have altered the layout of the Jem Cast section into seperate pages to reduce loading time. I have also added a screen capture and brief clip of Louise Dorsey (Jetta) as De De in Murder She Wrote: "A Fashionable Way To Die". My next project, once I've done searching through my old videos is to add some soundbytes for other cast member's other roles, so keep your eyes peeled ;)
- I have updated my wantlist! Finally I can remove
the socks for Friend or Stranger and the hat from Lightnin' Strikes
from my wants, as well as Synergy MIB and some Starlight girl accessories.
