"Gonna Hunt You Down" Modelled By British Stormer #2 This outfit is worn by Stormer on numerous occasions and for some frustrating reason each time she wears it, the trousers change shade of blue. This is copied, therefore, from the Britrock version of the outfit *G* hence the name I've assigned it. The synth is also customised by me. It's an old beat up Kimber synth, just in case you hadn't guessed, painted and sealed with acrylic :) The shoes are borrowed from Second Aja but should be red rather than pink :| Otherwise the outfit consists of blue trousers, a red dress, a black overtop and yellow wrap belt. Since the outfit is worn in Britrock, I figured it was only logical that a British Stormer should wear the outfit!! |
"I Like Your Style" Modelled By Jetta!! Hasbro never made anything for poor Jetta aside from her horrible barcode outfit. So I decided she was going to be the focus of some of my stitching, since I'm such a big Jetta fan ;) This is one of her most worn outfits, and it appears in Talent Search and Stingers Hit Town, among others. It consists of combat trousers, a dark red jacket and a black cropped top. It also has a black necktie but Jetta lost it - I havent yet found where she stashed it! |
"Let's Blow This Town" Modelled By Pizzazz #1!! Pizzazz wears this outfit in three episodes I can remember off hand - Old Meets New, The Bands Break Up and finally, Father's Day. It's her wearing of it in the video for Let's Blow This Town which has inspired me to name it after that song :) The outfit consists of a red polkadot dress (I've used sequins) with a black halter neck collar, yellow trousers, sunglasses (pinched from Like a Dream), sandals (pinched from Makin' Mischief), and a black belt. |
"I'm Gonna Change" Modelled By Mexican Roxy Roxy only wears this during Roxy Rumbles and since she wears it during the rendition of her own song - I'm Gonna Change - there seemed no other name to use for it :) I like this outfit best of the ones the Misfits wear during the episode, though it isn't the only one of the four I've made. It's pink and black (Roxy's signiture colour often seems to be pink), with a halter neck top, a black skirt (be-sequinned) with a frill edge and pink gloves. Jetta's shoes got snaffled for the picture, and Jetta was most unamused by it, too! |
"In Stitches" Modelled By British Stormer #1 This is another of those outfits from Roxy Rumbles, but she also wears it in lots of other places, including the episode In Stitches. I have a vivid recollection of her standing atop a speedboat shrieking "Pizzazz, Look Out!" so I decided to name it after that :) The outfit is in pink and black with yellow speckled tights (yes, ugh, but it was the eighties). I also made her her own hair flower, and, erm, stole Aja 2nd's shoes again. Hehe :D |
"Gimme A Gimmick" Modelled By Jetta #2 No idea why I chose that name for this outfit, *g*. It's another Misfit fashion worn in Roxy Rumbles predominately, but also in The Day The Music Died. Jetta really has terrible fashion sense. It should have a gold zig zag collar but when I was sorting through my fashion bits to photograph it, I misplaced it. Taffie, clever? Um. noo... I also stole Gimme Gimme Gimme's shoes for the picture :) |
"Abracadabra" Modelled By Pizzazz #2 As a kid, I never watched Jem, and my only knowledge of the show was a trailer on my My Little Pony video, which showed clips from the Abracadabra video. Consequently I grew up believing Pizzazz was some kind of witch. Was I wrong? Hm, maybe not :) But I decided to make her witch-suit anyway :) |
"Got What It Takes" Modelled By Roxy #1 She wears it for ten seconds, yet its one of the most beautiful outfits Roxy owns. Another one from Roxy Rumbles, the dress only appears during the Im Gonna Change video. But the name I gave it -well, Roxy has got what it takes, even if she doesn't always realise it!! |
"Free And Easy" Modelled By Jetta Well, Jetta wears this in two episodes I can remember - in Rock and Roll Express (liberally) and at the start of Beauty and the Rock Promoter. However, the name comes from one of the only three Misfit songs to feature a saxophone line :) And ah yes. Boots. Yes they are boots. LOL....my first foray into footwear, so don't laugh ;) Since it's clearly a Misfit bracelet in the picture on the cartoon, I put a misit bracelet over her glove too ;) |
"Who Is She, Anyway?" Modelled By Roxy-No-Hands I made this outfit specifically for this Roxy, who is one of my rescue case dolls I'm in the process of putting back together. As yet she hasn't hands - but then, when I first got her her head was snapped irreparably off her body, so she's come a long way with a brand new torso and limbs :) Roxy's outfit is thus named because she wears it, among other places, in The Fan (It;s also seen in Aztec Enchantment, I think). It's one of Roxy's more girly attires - yes, even down to bows on socks!! |
"Total Eclipse" Modelled By Pizzazz #2 This is how Hasbro should have made Winning Is Everything. Pizzazz wears this throughout the video to Universal Appeal (among other numerous episodes) but Hasbro already tainted that song title (how dare they!) by using it for a Rio fashion (boo!!) so I've named mine "Total Eclipse", from the song's lyric. The fabric doesn't photograph well on my digital camera, but the outfit is made of navy blue material threaded with blue glitter. The neckscarf and leg scarf are made of pink weave fabric threaded with metallic strands and she has a diamond gem on her waistline like the cartoon fashion. The hat was the most tricky thing to make, but I constructed it using plastic from a G3 MLP package cut into a strip and covered in fabric, with a circular top stitched across. It's quite effective! |

"BritRoxy"
Modelled By Roxy #1 My friend Krista made this
outfit for my Roxy doll, as a birthday present :) Roxy wears the outfit
in Britrock, (hence the nickname we coined for it, hehe), in Music Awards
and in the Princess and the Singer. True, Roxy on the show doesn't quite
wear it with so much fluff, but somehow it seemed irresistably cute to
dress her up in a furry top...:) I think it suits her!
