Synopsis: When she blows a Misfit television appearance by announcing the wrong band, Pizzazz and Jetta begin to tease Roxy about not being able to read. As a result Roxy quits the band, vowing to change her luck, but not sure how to go about it. Then she finds a lottery ticket and wins a million dollars, allowing her to 'leave the Misfits behind forever'. Jetta and Stormer track her to the House of Glamour where she has a makeover, and discover she is going home to Philadelphia to show everyone she isn't a nothing after all.
Meanwhile, Jem and the Holograms are on their Rock Out Illiteracy tour and just happen (!!) to be in Philadelphia when Roxy arrives. Annoyed that they have stolen her thunder, Roxy enlists the help of some old friends to set up her own street festival, but signing contracts without knowing what they say almost brings her to grief. It is only with Jem's help that she straightens things out, but by the time everyone is paid she has no money left. It is here that BaNee gives her a first reader book, and though she is persuaded to come back to the Misfits she keeps the book. At the end she is secretly trying to learn to read, despite her bravado when Jetta walks in on her. Kinda cute, this episode - but then I'm a fan of Roxy anyway :)
