More than twenty years after Jem, the Holograms and the Misfits were embroiled in royal intrigue, Jewel find themselves invited to take part in a Battle of the Bands in Morvania's capital city, Laviana. Things are not all plain sailing, however, for Phyllis is clearly on edge about something, and people do not appear to be what they seem. When Jewel realise that English singer Jesta is one of their competitors, they expect foul play, and it is not long before Sylva and Sadie's room at the hotel is trashed. Into the middle of all this comes a young man who seems especially interested in Sylva...
But what exactly is Nat looking for?
