Well, My Little Pony was not just popular in English speaking countries - and of course, as a result, pony media is not limited to just being in English. This part of the site gives just a brief, brief taste of the vast variety of languages and songs that exist. Most of what I have is in French, but there are also samples in other languages, too.

This is the theme from the 1986 TV series. A longer version exists, which was issued on record and cassette in France.

This was actually part of Generation 2 in Holland, and I don't know that it's a proper theme or a song because it came on a special CD.

I don't speak Dutch, but you can make out what it's about when you listen very carefully ;)

La Tristesse d'Incognito (From The Glass Princess)
In France, Shady's name is "Incognito" (though in French Canada she was called "Petit Ombre". In the TV show, she is also called Incognito. This song is when she is despairing of doing anything to help her abducted friends - and Molly is doing her best to cheer her up!)
