Weiss Kreuz

Weiss Kreuz were a four-piece seiyuu unit developed around/from/alongside the anime series of the same name. (Correctly the name is spelt with an eszett instead of  double S, but - it figures - I can type in kanji and kana but I can't type in German :P Sorry about that). WeissKreuz means White Cross. I think there's a deeper meaning to this too, because in Japanese the word "shiro" (which means white) can also be used to mean innocent. (So that would mean the name could be interpreted as "The cross of the innocent". Which would fit very nicely with the angst of the manga/anime/drama CD theme!).

As far as the band is concerned, it's often nicknamed "Weiss" by fans. The Weiss project was the brainchild of prolific Seiyuu Koyasu Takehito (allegedly because for once he wanted to play a main role in an anime instead of a secondary one!) and included fellow Seiyuu Seki Tomokazu, Miki Shinichirou and Yuuki Hiro.
