Adult Ponies: Holland Though My Little Pony had ended pretty much everywhere else by this time, in 1995 there were some rather odd variations on existing themes in stores in Holland to round off the line. According to what I've been told, these were intended as discount alternatives to the more expensive ponies on sale, however they are as genuine as any other. I want to thank Lieneke and Eva De Vries for every piece of information I know about Dutch ponies, and also for helping me to get several of them in my own collection - thanks guys :). All names given on this page are the dutch issue ones. I also wanna thank Lieneke and Eva for loan of the pictures of Vlinder and Love Pony. Additionally, I'd like to thank Lady Moondancer for the loan of the Sterretjes-Pony picture. The above four ponies plus Sterretjes-Pony appear to be variants on Seven Character Ponies, whilst Love-Pony is an amalgamation of Sweet Kisses Ponies and Vlinder-Pony and Schelp-Pony are based on Mummy Meadowsweet and Mummy Sunbright respectively.
