These five little ponies, along with Baby Karamell (better known to
most of us as common and garden baby Cotton Candy) were sold in Germany/Austria
during the eighties. Cute as 
anything, they used to be a lot scarcer on the online market than they
are now, but they're still tricky customers, because of the limitations
of where they were sold. All came with combs or brushes, ribbons and a
bottle, and I know that Baby CJ's ribbon was green. The picture to the left
of Baby Cherries Jubilee Mint On Card was in my file of photographs donated
to me by people sending me images for the old site, but in clearing the
hard drive of my computer for a necessary reboot I have sadly lost the email
address of the donee. If you donated me this image, could you please email
me and let me know so that I can denote credit! Thank you :D. Other than Baby Cherries Jubilee's accessories, I am not sure who had what colour items. I've given their German names as well as their English ones, just to be totally accurate. I've noticed on EBay that Baby Hopsi is also called Baby Hupfkaesten, but on the card I saw it was clearly printed 'Hopsi' so. :) Excuse the wonky accents, my computer does not appear to like them much :( The row at the bottom are also German sold and also came on cards simply with bottles and not much else. They have *painted* symbols, not glittery ones like their US counterparts and there is a Baby Moondancer (see MOC image to the right - thanks to the Delaneys for this image) Thanks to COLETTE for the scan of Baby Surprise and AMANDA for the picture of Baby Moondancer loose. :) I still need Baby Moondancer with the painted symbol - if you can help me please get in touch! |
