THIS SET MOC These little ponies were sold all across Europe and the
UK, and suffered something of an identity crisis en route! Since
the first pictures online of these girls came from a German insert, naming
them 'Vergissmeinicht Ponys', they initially got called by the translation
of 'Forget-Me-Not Ponies', and Daffodil got labelled under her German translated
name of 'Narcissus'. However, the correct set name in the UK is 'Flower
Ponies' and the correct English names as Hasbro dictates them are as above.
Better picture to come. Note that flower pony Bluebell is spelt without the
last 'e' of the collector pony's name, and that Tulip is simply 'Tulip' and
not 'Tulip Bloom' as some have suggested.
The Flower Ponies lacked one important thing in their set - a unicorn! |
