Newborn Ponies

After two years of newborn twin ponies, it was time to go solo. Cute baby ponies at inexpensive store prices meant one thing - instant success! While the twinsets, with all their accessories had proven rather costly for children's purses, the newborn singlets came only with a duck comb, a ribbon and a white newborn bottle each, and consequently were well within pocket money reach. Probably because of this, they are a lot easier to find on the second hand market than any of the newborn twin pairs are, and are on Ebay just as often.
In UK pony comic stories, Squirmy had a friend called Solomon the Snail, and Wiggles had a friend called Mr Caterpiller. I remember a story when Squirmy accidentally made Mr Caterpillar grow huge ;). Shaggy liked to do headstands like her particular friend, untidy ted (from whence her name came), and Dangles had her own magic trick - when she wiggled her nose she could make a breeze turn her mobile. Tappy was a dancer, and Yoyo, well, played with yoyos ;)
In more personal terms, however, Yo Yo was also my first ever baby pegasus pony ;)
