In my personal experience these girls are very very hard to find
little ponies. I don't believe we've ever had doubles of any of them, and
Nurse Sweetheart was one of the last UK ponies we got to complete our set.
However it's true to say that a lot of the ponies from 1994, the final year
of My Little Pony in the UK became very hard to find.
When the Nurse Ponies first were unveiled on the online stage, there was a big kafuffle over their names. However, their real identities are as given on this page - Tenderheart, Loveheart and Sweetheart. These names appear on the cards for the nurse ponies and on the box for the Bed and Crib Set, as well as in Hasbro's list :) Each Nurse had a heat sensitive heart which under warm water was meant to fade away to reveal a teddy bear's face. Each had an injured bear as a symbol, and Nurse Sweetheart was based on the Seven Character Pony Sweetheart, presumably chosen because of that pony's sweet nature. Please note that the hat shown on Loveheart is correct to these ponies and each of them would have had one when new, however the red bandana over Tenderheart's hair is my own addition and has nothing to do with the ponies themselves ;) The Nurse Pony hats are some of the hardest to find pony accessories in the UK, and fit onto the pony's head via two little pegs. These slot into small holes either side of the pony's mane. |
