Surprise and Heart Throb were the pegasus
ponies for this year, but, like the year before, neither were sold in their
Hong Kong form in the United Kingdom. Both made frequent appearances, as
did the reissued Medley and Firefly, now with
curly hair, in UK stories :) Neither pony was quite as dizzy as their American
cartoon counterparts (though those I think are largely the So Soft variety)...though Surprise has a fetish
for balloons and Heart Throb loves Valentine's Day. I remember as a small
girl having a book with a calender section, and seeing Heart Throb as the
pony for February (my birthmonth) because of Valentine's Day...ah, happy
memories ;)
