THIS PONY MIB I suppose it was only a matter of time before we got more
bridal ponies. I think it's safe to say that of the later issued ponies
of the original line, the brides, (Pony Bride and Bridal Beauty) are some of the most common.
Pony Bride came, at least in the UK, in a white and silver grey box, and
she was sold with a wedding cake, a veil, a ring and a comb/ribbon. She
was in one of the new style moulds for the year, and was all white, with
irridescent tinsel throughout her mane and tail.
Oddly enough she never had a 'Pony Groom', or a proper name. Though there are rumours to the effect that she was called 'Dum Dum de Dum', all Mint in Package Pony Brides I've seen on ebay, from USA and UK have named her, simply, 'Pony Bride', so I guess that's all Hasbro intended on calling her ;) Pony Bride was also offered through the My Little Pony Club as a special offer before her release in stores.
