Sweetsteps Ballerina Ponies
 These girls are just weird. Although the baby ballerina ponies would be sold worldwide, the very first poseable My Little Ponies were the Sweetsteps Ballerinas, who were never sold in the UK. It is interesting to note that Silky Slipper, Twinkle Dancer and Posey Rose all have colourschemes which would be duplicated in the baby forms later on.
Each of the Sweetsteps Ballerina ponies came with a ruffle tutu and a flower hair clip (I've added a pic of my MIB Twinkle Dancer below so you can see what I mean.) and had moulded on tutus on their torso, a feature the baby versions would also carry. They had bows on their feet to mark ballet shoes, and, believe it or not, there seem to be two poses in use here, though it's real difficult to be sure. The main difference between the adult and baby ballerinas however was the fact these girls had a symbol marked onto the back of their tutu.
