1994:

JEWELLERY BABY PONIES

The Jewellery Babies were one of the final sets to be made available in the UK pony line, and they were the last ponies to have tinsel threaded in their hair. For this reason, perhaps, the quality of the tinsel used for the threading was not the same as in previous years, and second hand ponies have often been found with 'threaded' tinsel that has started to unravel, giving the impression of cotton threads in the mane. (It's different from crinkly tinsel, at least..?)

These baby ponies are some of the hardest UK ponies to find, and it is near impossible to find them MOC or with their charm bracelets (although I have heard of it happening). When Hasbro sold off their excess Mint in Package stock to stores for dispersal, many of 1994's pony line were included, but the Jewellery Babies were not.

JEWELLERY BABIES: UK CARD FRONT

There are three in the set, all of which being Earth Ponies. In spite of this being the final year for My Little Pony, one of the babies (Sapphire) featured the new baby pose for the year.
