Ah, the Baby Buggy. Immortalised through the television episode "The Revolt of Paradise Estate", when Baby Buggy not only comes to life, but also helps to save the day!

Baby Cuddles was always something of a spoiled, petulant little girl in the pony comics. She never wanted to cooperate and she was always causing a fuss. She was cast as the youngest baby pony, and often the adult ponies got stuck with effective 'babysitting' duties. She took a lot of attention, did Cuddles, and knew how to get it!!

The playset was released continuously from 1984 through to 1987-8 and she went through two incarnations. Both were sold globally and both are equally common as each other (which is very common, as is the buggy set). Oddly, it seems that the UK release had the Beddy Bye Eye baby Cuddles first, and THEN sold the original baby in later years, judging by the style of type on the packages. Also, several later UK sold packages claimed to contain a Baby Pony made in Spain -though as yet none when opened have yielded anything other than a normal Hong Kong Baby Cuddles.

Original Baby Cuddles has three white freckles on her nose, whilst Beddy Bye Eye Cuddles has lost these freckles, but gained open and shut eyes.

The Baby Buggy was re-vamped in North America in the early nineties to form the "Princess Baby Buggy", with a new look and a brand new Baby Pony.
