Following the success of the 1986 Baby Pony and Purse featuring Baby Sleepy Pie, there was a new purse for 1987. Following the theme for the year, this featured a Baby Pony with a first tooth - Baby Crumpet - based on the Adult So Soft Pony Crumpet also on sale this year.

Baby Crumpet was never sold in the UK and appears more hard to find on the second hand market than her predecessor. I do not have her purse - so I am unsure how accurate the insert photo is - but you can get an idea of how the set looked from the image above.
