Perhaps typically, Gingerbread has never really been cast as anything other than a cook. In the pony cartoon series, she had the occasional moments where she'd be talking (or singing) about gingerbread, and in the UK comics, she and Sweetie would often be found in the kitchen. I have a strong feeling it was she who was responsible for making squeaking gingerbread biscuits with the baby ponies, but I might be wrong...

Gingerbread was sold in many countries, including the UK. She's often found with the pink streak in her mane faded, and this is not a variation!
