Well, in the UK comics she would appear on most Valentine days and take part in all that kind of thing - but she was eclipsed by the personality given to So Soft Heart Throb in the animated series. Gushing, over the top and melodramatic, Heart Throb was a silly, superficial pony who called everyone darling and who freaked out at the least thing. She was more than a little bit of a romantic, and even had an episode where she believed she was Salome...

Heart Throb the So Soft Pony was different from her original counterpart in two ways. Firstly, the obvious velvety flocking, and secondly, the symbol. So Soft Heart Throb's symbol does NOT have wings to the hearts (although one exists with them, she is possibly a prototype), and probably because of this anomaly, there are versions of her baby with and without the winged hearts (at least in Europe).
