1986: Flutter Ponies

HONEYSUCKLE

Pink flutter pony with pale pink mane and tail, pink and yellow honeysuckle symbol, irridescent wings (often missing).

Yep. Pale pink. Pale pink hair. Your average pretty pastel little pony here :) Her hair SHOULD always be a nice pink and never white, but easily fades.

There are two distinct versions of Honeysuckle and both are available on the UK second hand market (though the reasons for it are a bit uncertain, given that Honeysuckle was officially only sold in the first year. Some store catalogues had her still on sale in the second, though, which may explain it!) The Honeysuckle pictured above is the Honeysuckle with the original wing fixings. The ribbon in her tail is almost certainly not hers, but I cannot be 100%.

HONEYSUCKLE with LATER WING ATTACHMENTS

For some reason, Honeysuckle with the second style of wing attachments often has wildly curly hair (still pink, still very fadeable!).

Like with all the Flutter Ponies, Honeysuckle had a rough"poem" for a backcard story, which was also printed up in the Fact File. They give the vaguest hint to the pony's intended character, and her's was as follows:

"Flutter Ponies bring good luck,
No matter what the reasons,
Watch carefully throughout the year,
for Honeysuckle to change the seasons
!."
