BABY: Dark plum with pale pink mane and tail, curly, white panties with pink hearts, and white, blue and pink kittens

The first thing I need to mention is that my Mommy pony has faded hair; it ought to be the same pink as Baby, and this is not a variation.

Mommy and Baby are a rarer set of Mail Order ponies released in about Year 9 (1991ish) by horseshoe point. They originally came with some accessories including, I believe, a playpen for Baby, probably in yellow. Baby is a Fancy Pants Baby pony, but Mommy is an average normal Earth pony in all respects.

They did not have official names, although a few collector names circulate on the web.
