1987: Slumber Party Gift Pack

PINK DREAMS

Aqua flutter pony with dark pink mane and tail, pink and blue sleeping cat symbol. Irridescent wings - often missing.

Despite the fact that the Slumber Party Set was not officially sold in the UK, Pink Dreams has been found many times in this country. Sold as end of line stock in clear bags, the only clue to her identity lay in the gray backed strip of card which simply featured a rainbow and the words "My Little Pony".

Surprisingly, however, such issues of Pink Dreams did incorporate her flutter wings, tied to a piece of white cardboard detached from the pony. For this reason, it's possible for me to state that my Pink Dreams has her 100% original wings in the picture above ;)

As a 1987 flutter pony, Pink Dreams had second edition wing attachments, making it easy to slip her wings in and out.
