PRINCESS BABY BUGGY

with Baby Princess Sparkle

This was a variation twist on an old theme. Though there had been baby pony accessories galore since the first release of the Baby Buggy in 1984, Hasbro revived the old concept in 1991 to release the Princess Baby Buggy. Perhaps the most amazing part of this is that they still had the moulds for the parts to the Baby Buggy in 1991! In dark pink now, with a glittering magenta canopy, glittering purple wheels and lace touched with silver, this was definitely a step upmarket for all discerning babies.

The buggy came with its own baby pony, a very elegant young filly in white. Baby Princess Sparkle was also glitter-touched - her castle symbol in gold and pink whilst her hair was threaded through with pink, gold and aqua tinsel. She also had a gold star on her brow.

Her hair is intentionally pale pink - any with white hair have faded.

The ribbon shown with Baby Princess Sparkle is original to this playset. The buggy came with accessories, including a pink blanket, but without digging the box out from the attic I can't be sure what else it may or may not have had.
