Oh boy. What can I say about this pony. Honestly, I find her a bit concerning. Not because of the theme of a pregnant My Little Pony, but rather the fact that, if you press the button mechanism and she's at the wrong angle, you might just be firing twin babies across the room.

I don't even know how Hasbro thought this up, but I can only assume that pregnant Barbie must have happened around this time.

Surprise Twins Pony doesn't really have a name, and nor do her twins. She is generally known as "Mummy Pony" but that's not really a name, either. The babies are really easy to lose and so super rare on the second hand market - in fact, practically impossible on their own. They are the smallest baby ponies in the whole pony line.

Surprise Twins Pony has a unique pose because of her unique gimmick.

This view shows it better. There is a capsule inside of her stomach which snaps shut. When her collar button is pressed, it flips back to the state visible in the picture. The twins fit inside of her as can be seen in the image, which is actually pretty good for storage!

There was a playset for this pony set this year, too: The Bed and Crib set, with a crib just the right size for those twins!
