1985-7: Twinkle Eye Ponies

In the cartoon series, Sweetie (named Sweet Stuff, as this is her US name) had a whole episode pretty much to herself, in which she found some self belief, solved a puzzle and had a big party. Kind of ;)

This shy persona didn't really feature in the UK. Here, Sweetie was the other half of Sweetie and Gingerbread - between the two of them, there was quite a bit of cooking going on! This is also reflected in her story on her UK backcard:

Sweetie was sold in many countries, including the UK. She was re-released in the UK as part of the 1987 set, probably on a white card. She's often found with the pink streak in her mane faded, and this is not a variation!
