1987: Adventure Boy Ponies

TRUCKER

Powder blue shire pony with dark blue mane and tail (pale pink streak in mane), pink and purple 'dump truck' symbol.

At first glance, Trucker looks like a pony who's real keen on waste disposal - just judging by the style of his symbol! But in the UK pony comics, his "truck" was far more of an actual lorry, travelling all over Ponyland and (occasionally) taking Speedy along for the ride and flirting with the tiny Summer Wing Ponies along the way.

Trucker was known as "4-Speed" in the North American issue (and how you can name a pony that is beyond me, but Hasbro apparently managed to do so anyway). He was only sold as part of the original set of six and was not brought back for the second year, making him one of the more hard to find ponies from the set. He is certainly difficult to find with the streak in his mane still pale pink, as it is of a shade that fades remarkably easily.
