Synopsis: Jem and the Holograms and the Misfits are invited to play at the Music is Magic television special show. Despite a less than warm reception from the magicians who are going to take part in the show, both bands are completely unaware that anything is amiss until Jem mysteriously disappears in flames. The Misfits team up with the Holograms and the magicians to find out what happened to Jem (The Misfits mainly to make sure she stays lost) but one by one people keep disappearing till the numbers are whittled down to Shana, Kimber, Jetta, Stormer, Professor Frick and his assistant Frack. Then it transpires that the plot was designed to keep the real performers from the stage to allow a special magician to perform...
