The Fashion Mis-Takes
This page is devoted to some of the Misfits' funnier fashions, hence 'Mis-Takes" :) During the course of 'filming', these four girls parade some of the worst examples of eighties cartoon fashion ever dreamt of - and what's more, they seem to do it with pride! Take a walk on the dangerous side and step into the closets of the four most rebellious girls of eighties animated rock and roll!!
Thanks to Laura Dunlop for her contributions to my screen captures on this page :D

STORMER

Exhibit A: The Hairy Body Bag
Stormer, what on earth is that? No wonder Kimber's looking so perplexed...aside from the feathers or whatever they are, the sleeves are really not flattering and I'm kinda worried about how low that's coming on your shoulders - sure you remembered to fasten the zip?

Aw, don't look so sulky, pet. So what if Dave doesn't like your taste in um....corpse apparel? You can always sting him for new outfits to promote Back2Back properly!

Exibit B: Shana's Fashion...
Green is, we must concede, a good colour on you, Stormer, and you are, I suppose, a Misfit...but did you have to swipe Shana's outfit? Did you really want it that badly? Can't you afford your own clothes yet? Sheesh, girl, what do you spend your earnings on anyway?

Exhibit C: I'm Okay...really...
Well, what can be said? All I can think is that this is Stormer's brave attempt at a protest against what she's been made to wear:
'What do you mean, this is fashion? Where's my flower? What are you trying to DO to me?'
Or
"I'm okay...I can dress for myself
I'm okay...this belongs back on the shelf..."

Exhibit D: Attack of The Spots
This outfit would be okay if it weren't for two things - the tights (eek!) and the frilly skirt (eek 2). Though it must be admitted that it's a vast improvement on what Jetta and Pizzazz (see their pages) choose to wear throughout the most of Roxy Rumbles, Stormer's disgusted expression pretty much sums up her feelings about the whole idea of wearing speckly tights...

Exhibit E: The Raggy Doll
British readers might remember a cartoon in the late eighties called the 'Raggy Dolls'. Stormer evidently remembers it, with this 'a la Lucy' outfit...all together now "Don't be scared if you don't fit in - look who's in the reject bin...its the RAGGY DOLLS!"

Exhibit F: Riding Gal
Stormer's technique with horses kinda says everything that needs to be said about this ensemble. Stormer, you're not cut out for the cowgirl life, now put on your nice flowery dress and hairtie and leave the horses to the others!

Exhibit G: Stripes R Us
Well, the outfit is so ugly that it made that poor girl faint - what do you have to say for yourself, Stormer?

Exhibit H: The Wannabe
Well, might just be me, but doesn't this outfit seem to be just a LITTLE bit trying to copy Pizzazz's style? Rumbled, Stormie!

Exhibit I: Keep Fit
"And one and two and three and....erm, what comes next?"
Stick to the synth, gal ;) It's more your speed.

Exhibit J: School Disco
Stormer takes us on a guided tour of what she used to wear when she was sixteen...and discovers she's rather outgrown the skirt in the meantime....
