Spanish KIMBER
This was my first Spanish doll. She came from Ebay, from a seller in Spain, logically enough :) Though the bottom seal of the box had gotten old and worn and had come unfastened, the doll had not been disturbed from her card and her shoes, comb and stand leg grip were still firmly sealed into their plastic bag (this means that getting a picture of her shoes is not easy :P)

The doll also has Made In Spain on her back. Yeah, I undid her neck tie to have a peek :)

TRANSLATING THE BOX

Kimber's nationality is easy to determine. In two places on her box it says Made In Spain - once in English (where it actually specifies Valencia as her point of origin - see pic. I will try and get a better focused one soon) and once in Spanish (fabricado en Espana).
Regarding the cassette, the box reads 'Including cassette with the big successes/hits 'Only The Beginning, Twilight In Paris and the Jem theme'. The titles of the songs are IN ENGLISH (although I know that on a Spanish Pizzazz's box the song titles are TRANSLATED into SPANISH and the text above it reads slightly differently - thanks Laura for this info).
There are a fair few variations in the language on the SPANISH box compared to that of my MEXICAN Jem's box. On the front it says 'Verdaderamente Fantastica' (Truly Fantastic or I guess Outrageous LOL) and down the side, where it usually reads about Jem and Jerrica's two lifestyles it reads instead:
'Jem: Verdaderamente Fantastica - Esta completamente articulada y se la puede mover en cualquier posicion. Lleva vestido de escena de realza sus posteras'
Which basically translates to, if my Spanish doesn't fail me:
'Jem: Truly Fantastic - she is completely articulated/poseable and you can move her into every/any pose. Wearing stage fashion to act out her postures <?>'
The block of text which this is written in is smaller than on other boxes, and the star at the top is overlapping the box, not underneath it (see pics for comparison - other box on the right is Stormer's dutch box).
The Spanish box also opens with proper flaps not just glued down tabs.
The information regarding Jem and Jerrica's lifestyles is on the back of the box, along with the spanish referring to Rio, the Holograms and the Rockin' Roadster ('el coche rockero')

Kimber appears to come with everything an ordinary Kimber comes with. The box states:
"Contiene: Muneca de 30cm, con trajes de escena, instrumento musical, zapatos, horquillas, cinta cassette y peana para la muneca"
Which translates roughly as:
"Contains: 30cm (12 1/4 in) doll with stage fashion, musical instrument, shoes, socks, cassette and stand <?> for the doll"
She certainly comes with a keyboard, a pair of shoes, Kimber's complete fashion, comb, stand, poster (in spanish) and tape. The tape appears to be in English - certainly the song titles are. This also differs from the Mexican dolls who had tapes dubbed into Mexican Spanish.

When I compared my Spanish Kimber and her bits and pieces to my first edition Hong Kong Kimber dolls, I was surprised to note that there were some marked differences.

Firstly, Kimber's keyboard.  The top keyboard in the picture belongs to my Hong Kong Kimber. The bar and keys of this keyboard are purple.
The bottom keyboard, (still attached to the card) is Spanish Kimber's keyboard. As you can see the keys are a lot darker, almost black. The shade of purple of the main keyboard is also slightly different. Unlike Mexican dolls, the Spanish dolls appear  to come with the correct year style of instrument to match the doll's clothes.
Another clear difference is Kimber's shoes (see pic, Spanish shoe on the left, regular Kimber shoe on the right). These are a very dark plum purple, darker even than Stormer's shoes, whilst First Edition Kimber's shoes are normally lighter in colour. The spanish shoe is also of a more rubbery texture.
I will attempt to get a better scan of the shoes but they proved notoriously difficult to photograph. Still, the image gives some idea as to the colour disparity.

Kimber's cassette is in English, like the cassettes to come with dolls in Holland and France.

One thing that it is hard to accurately discuss is her makeup tone in comparison to the Hong Kong first edition Kimber doll, since there exist so many variations. However she appears to have a slightly orangier pink shade of makeup, particularly her lips. I think she has quite a pretty face, and her hair appears to be fairly dark red.
There do not seem to be any direct differences in her outfit, apart from the fact that her socks have slightly differently proportioned fishnet holes from both other versions of Kimber's socks that I've seen.
