"BOBBIE"

The point of this page is basically to collect together whatever other weird has crossed my path or other people's paths in the last several years. There are some really odd ponies in the UK, and believe me, I couldn't even begin to describe them all. Many of the weird end of line put together jobs are Princess related, or Happytail related, or Flutter Pony related.

Possibly the best known of these is "Bobbie", who was actually first discovered in the pony community by Reaperfox, who bought her new in the South East of England. She was in a Princess Pony box from the US, with a bunch of accessories and such like, and she wasn't alone.

The above pictured Bobbie is my own. I am responsible for naming her that, for which I want to apologise profusely to the pony community as a whole. I had no idea that my naming her would go on to become the name that everyone used. If I did, I'd have thought of something better. I think Reaperfox originally called her Syntax Error, which is a much better name. But, for good or for bad, she is now known as Bobbie in the community. She is also sometimes called he, because the name Bobbie makes people think male - but Bobbie with an ie is a girl's name ;). I don't think Hasbro intended this pony to be a boy.

The pony pictured above has the body of a Tall Tales Happytails pony, but her hair is the pink of Squeezer, and the tail is very insubstantial and thin. There exist many variants on this theme, some without a rooted mane at all (but always plenty of brushes!)

There are also ponies like Bobbie with other hair colours. Most commonly seen is one with the same blue hair as Tall Tales, but without the symbol or Happytails mechanism. People sometimes call her Blue Haired Bobbie, which seems a bit odd to me, since the name Bobbie was only ever given to the variant photographed above, and there are far too many Happytails variants to classify them so easily.

PRINCESS WOOSIE

This is one of my favourites of the odd ponies, and she also counts as a variant Princess, because she has the head of a Princess Pony (Amethyst), and the body of Woosie. She also has a very mixed hair selection. I believe there are a number of variations on this theme, too - including Happytail heads on Princess bodies and different shades of hair. This is not a fakie. This is a real end of line pony. Awesome, Hasbro :)

HEX

This is another of Reaperfox's awesome weird ponies. This one is along the same lines as the yellow pegasus with blue hair but no symbol or mechanism - only this time it follows the colour scheme and design of Squeezer instead. I think that probably this could be counted as a variant of Squeezer, but Hex is a pretty neat name for her anyway xD.

FACTORY ERROR BLUEBELLE

This pony is NOT from the UK, but I didn't know really where else to put her. I bought her for $9 on Ebay years ago and people had ignored her because they thought she was a fake. She really isn't, and there are others like her (with pale head/blue body, with the reverse, or with a completely cream body).

Her head is not the same shade as Lemon Drop, and she has bi-tone eyes in pink and lavender. It is generally assumed she is a factory error pony. I don't think that this has happened through fading, I think she is literally a factory reject that snuck out somehow...maybe also at the end of line.
