1994: Sweetie Baby Ponies

BABY CANDY

White baby earth pony with dark green/white striped mane, dark green tail, pink and blue striped sweets with aqua green ends symbol all over her body.

Baby Candy like all the Sweetie Babies, is very hard to find on the second hand market. She and her set were released on pink cards in the style of 1993/4 and had a combined story as a result. She was sold with an oversized sweetie clip which was designed to be worn by the pony and the pony mum.

There is also a variant of Baby Candy which has her hair colours reversed, (white/green/white/green rather than green/white/green/white. I have no idea what the reason for this variation is, but a few have apparently been found second hand, implying there may have been a batch with this error.

ALTERNATE HAIRED BABY CANDY

Baby Candy used one of the older and more common baby pony poses.
She was only sold in 1994.

Baby Candy never featured in the UK Pony comic, which had ended before her release, and was never sold in North America.
