1994: Jewellery Baby Ponies

Baby Sapphire, like all the Jewellery Babies, is very hard to find on the second hand market. She and her set were released on pink cards in the style of 1993/4 and had a combined story as a result. Sadly I don't have her pink charm bracelet to photograph!

Baby Sapphire is my personal favourite of the Jewellery Babies, and she features the new pose for the year, a pose used by only three baby ponies in total. It is based on an earlier Baby Unicorn pose, but Hasbro decided they'd rather remake the pose than issue unicorns in the last year of production!
She was only sold in 1994.

Baby Sapphire never featured in the UK Pony comic, which had ended before her release, and was never sold in North America.
