1993: Best Friends Babies

First things first - the hairbow belongs to a doll line and has nothing to do with Susie except that it looks cute in her hair :)

Baby Susie was sold with the puppy from the set, known as "Spot", who matched her colours.

She did not appear in the comics so far as I can remember, and was sold on a dark pink backcard with a shared story between her set.

BABY SUSIE: LOOKING UP POSE

This pony is from my own collection, so I can verify that she has completely normal features (hair, eyes, symbols) and is marked c.1984 Made in China, just like her usual shy pose comrade. The only difference, really, is that she is in a different pose.

I bought this girl about nine years ago from a UK seller on Ebay. Since that time, I have never seen or heard of another one being found, and have no real idea as to her origin or purpose in having been produced. I don't even know if she was sold with Spot or on her own. All I do know is that she is not alone - and there is at the very least a variation of Baby Billie to go with her.
