This year's newborns were also pretty much back to basics. Three babies, one pegasus and two earthlings were released as 'bedtime newborns', and sold with an accessory of a newborn baby bottle that matched the colour of their hair.

The three babies were sold on tiny pink cards and shared a backcard story, like many ponies this year. They had no combs.
