1991: Rockin' Beat Ponies

HALF NOTE

Neon orange earth pony with dark pink mane and tail (streak of neon yellow in mane), green, yellow and pink diamonds, stars and circles symbol

Half Note's backcard story is rather sad and rather sweet. She's a young guitarist not confident in her skills because the song fades out halfway through her performance. Not to worry, though, this is ponyland - and there are always helpful critters on hand to help make up the second half! This is the reason for her name, "Half Note". It has nothing to do with - and she has no connection to - the Baby Half Note sold with the Baby Bonnet School of Dance in earlier years.

Annoyingly, Half Note's hair is in two types - the pink is silky and smooth whilst the yellow is curly. Sigh.

She is pictured with her original guitar.
