Like the other members of her set, Moondream was a Bedtime Newborn typified by her bold, solid colours and simple symbols. The colour of her hair matched the newborn size bottle she was sold with, which was her only accessory.

Moondream was the only pegasus pony from her set. Sometimes she is mistakenly called Napper, perhaps because of the similarity of her symbol/identity to the Sparkle Pony Napper's - but her correct name is Moondream which she is referred to as on all packaging.

Moondream never featured in the UK Pony comic and was never sold in North America.
