Baby Rainfeather followed on the theme from Baby Quackers with the duck and the brolly motif. I have no idea what the first stimulus for that was, and I think it's better not to ask. I don't remember her playing an extensive role in the comics, as Baby Flicker and Baby Wellyboot proved far more popular characters with the writers!
