Tassels was one of the four characters sold in the United Kingdom, in the blue bordered boxes as can be seen to the above right of this page.

In the UK comics, she - like so many other ponies - had her own specific tricks. The Sticker Album for this year introduced all the Merry Go Round Ponies to the UK audience and this is what it had to say about Tassels:

"Tassels makes something specialn to give away as prizes on her stall! Throw six balls into the basket to win a magic cape!"

To my mind, there was also something else wrapped up in Tassels and her magic capes...but unfortunately I haven't yet tracked down the reference.

Tassels is sometimes incorrectly called Tossles.
