Baby Sugarberry's key difference from her adult counterpart is the colour of her hair. Although Hasbro have very faithfully represented the symbol of the adult Strawberry Fair (known as Sugarberry in the US, hence the baby pony's name), the baby's hair is far paler, a more delicate pinkish red than the bright scarlet used for the adult pony.

Baby Sugarberry also has a first tooth.
