1986: So Soft Ponies

BOUNCY

Yellow pegasus pony with blue mane and tail, pink, blue and yellow beachball symbol. FLOCKED.

Bouncy was the first pegasus pony to encompass this colour scheme -although definitely not the last. Logically, her name, 'Bouncy', was an allusion to the ball symbol, making her fairly straight-forward a pony to recognise and identify! There was never a version of her without flocking.

Bouncy was one of the only new ponies depicted on the backcard correctly, as a pegasus pony. She was never sold in the UK - in fact, until I came online in 97 for the first time, I had no idea that the multinational Baby Bouncy was actually a derivative of an already sold adult pony.
