1990: Tropical Ponies

SURFING DAYS

Orange pegasus pony with pale pink, yellow, dark neon red mane and tail, blue and pink angel fish symbol.

Well, since this is a UK zone, we're going to call ponies by their proper United Kingdom names. Whilst in the North American release this pony was saddled with Repetitive Name Syndrome, stealing the already-used twice name Sea Breeze (boo, hiss for unoriginality). But over here she was called Surfing Days - a name belonging to no other pony - and much nicer too. (Biased? Am I? Surely not! Don't all ponies deserve their own identity? LOL!)

Surfing Days' comic character was, as her name suggests, the surfer pony among the Tropical Isle. Whilst Sail Away had her boat, Surfing Days would ride the waves like a true beach pony, eager to explore and meet new ponies!

Oh yes, and that pale pink streak? Guess what...it fades to white in the sunshine. (Anyone else spotted a pattern here yet?)
