1989: Sunshine Ponies

Wave Runner was the pegasus pony from the Sunshine set, and her white streaks would turn to magenta in sunlight. She was intentionally sold with curls (and fortunately mine has maintained them, so you can see how she should have looked new!)

For some reason the Sunshine Ponies were not sold in the United Kingdom with ribbons, only combs. Each was sold on a bordered card in yellow.
