RASPBERRY JAM

Raspberry pink earth pony with vivid green mane and tail, jar of jam and raspberries symbol.

This has always confused me.

Bearing in mind my complete ignorance of American culture...I was always under the impression that what we call 'Jam' in the United Kingdom is called 'Jelly' in the United States. Raspberry Jam's symbol is a jam jar to me...but I really wonder why it is she has the name she does in the US and why it wasn't Raspberry Jam that had another name instead of Blackberry Pie :S

Either way, Raspberry Jam was sold universally :) And, completely predictably, she was often rather preoccupied with the making of jam!!
