1988: Magic Message Ponies

Yellow pegasus pony with melon mane and tail (green streak in mane), three balloons symbol (reveals I Love U/I Love Ice Cream under heat).

Floater was the pegasus pony from the set and for some reason is quite difficult to find in decent condition. The messages on her symbols are done with pictures so that there is one symbol per balloon and each side holds a different (and completely pointless!) message.

Floater was the explorer, inheriting Lofty's travelling mantle and zipping around places in a hot air balloon. It is thanks to Floater that Banana Surprise was introduced into the comic (gee...thanks!!)

Floater was sold worldwide and kept the same name everywhere.
