Not much is known about Bluebelle's original flat foot release
in the United Kingdom. It was probably by import in late 1983,
but there is not much of a paper trail relating to this set. In
contrast, much more information is available for how the later Concave Foot version of this pony
was sold, even though she remained an obscure character in the
early line.
Bluebelle's character was a bit obscure in the UK, and she
never appeared in any pony stories. She was included in the Fact
File, but was illustrated with pink hair, rather than purple,
and her name was spelt without the last 'e'. It is not clear
whether this was an alternative UK spelling or a mistake.
