"Nestie" Babies

Only one set from the range in 1993 was not sold officially in the UK. This was the Nesthäckchen-Baby-Ponys set (known in France as Bébé-Nurserie, but better known online by their German name and thus usually nicknamed 'Nestie' Babies by us English speaking folks :)

The set included three babies, in traditional poses, with an array of accessories more in the style of earlier baby pony sets. Each baby was an earth pony, and the accessories for each varied. Some accessories used familiar moulds from previous releases and some were unique to this set. Schlummerlein and Blubberchen (yellow and pink) were shown in the wrong pose on the insert picture (above) which is the only year's insert on which these ponies appeared.

They were sold in pink boxes with a collective story on the back. As was common with ponies released in 1993, though all three ponies were pictured and named on the box back, the pony inside was identified on the front by a name sticker (you can see this below on the bottom right).

One English boxed pony is known to exist but this is believed to be a sample - there is no evidence the set was offered or sold here in the UK. There are a few surviving boxed sets in German and in French, and they do exist loose in these countries (which is not generally the case here).
