Baby Firefly's backcard story is one of the more unusual
stories that connected an adult pony with her offspring. It's a
touching tale of Baby Firefly learning to fly with the help of
mother Firefly, apparently inheriting her zest for adventure and
exploration. Baby Firefly had a similar character in the comic,
although she lived with the other babies at Lullabye Nursery.
She was the first baby pony to 'emerge' into Ponyland via the
magic mirror in the comic story, after Firefly wished for
someone to take care of. The comic illustration makes her look
like adult Firefly, but with only one symbol.
