Sand Dollar


Sand Dollar was sold as part of the second full set of Adult Sea Ponies in North America, but was never sold in the UK, nor was she ever promoted in any UK merchandise. She appeared in the Escape from Catrina special.

Sand Dollar's colour scheme reminds me of So Soft Shady, which is probably why I am so fond of her! She had the new pose for the year, with her head tilted up, and an old style clam shell stand, in aqua. which is especially difficult to find. She was also sold with a brush, comb, ribbon and puffy sticker. She was never re-issued after 1985 and is one of the more difficult early ponies to find from the North American line.
