Jingle Pocket (aka Li'l Pocket)


Jingle Pocket was one of the Pocket Friends Ponies sold in the UK and in Europe in 1992. She was sold as Li'l Pocket in North America in the previous year, in a set known as Precious Pocket Ponies.

There are known to be some versions of this pony with No Country of Manufacture on the hooves. These may have been available in Spain but may also have been around in other places.

The texture of Jingle Pocket's hair can vary from curlyfrizzy to silky. I am not sure if there is also any colour variation on this pony.


Jingle Pocket's Character

Jingle Pocket appeared in a few comic stories in 1992 and 1993. One odd story had her helping Hopping Pocket to find her missing rabbit, and at one point involved her eating her name in biscuit letters, which first made her hop uncontrollably and then ultimately helped her to stop. I have no idea.

Her backcard story involved her running around Ponyland making jingling noises, which confused the other ponies - until she revealed that her pocket was a coin bank.
