As might be expected, the Ballerina babies appeared in the pony
comic in conjunction with stories about music and dancing. They
would sometimes appear with the Rockin' Beats - a set
contemporary with theirs - and their backcard stories all focus
on them finding ways to get their dance steps correctly. In
North America, the set had a collective story, but in the UK,
each individual baby had a different story, and thus a different
nuance in how she learned her steps. These techniques were tied
in with the name of the pony, as can be seen below.
